I am a 24 year old, full time special ed teacher. And by full time, I mean over time. Teaching consumes my thoughts and actions for most of every day. To satisfy my drive to teach and share, I decided to start this blog. But, I am getting a little ahead of myself here. I am pretty new to crafting, having only really gotten started in April 2011. It began as a hobby to relax in my spare time (haha), and snowballed from there. I host a craft night at my house for my girlfriends twice a month and I get just as much pleasure out of helping them with their projects as I do with my own crafts. Things really heated up in November 2011 when I discovered Pinterest and bought my Cricut! My two resolutions for this year were to hand make every greeting card I give for all occasions, and to make as many birthday/wedding/baby gifts as I can. We shall see how far I get, but I’ll pass along all the things I learn along the way. Keep in mind that I am brand new to blogging (and relatively new to crafting) and go easy on me. At least at first.
